GC-MS with Headspace Analysis
GC-MS combines two powerful analytical techniques for the identification of volatile and semi-volatile compounds at trace levels. With the added capacity for headspace analysis and solid phase microextraction (SPME) sample preparation, our facility has the ability to perform quantitative and qualitative analysis on a wide variety of samples.
Thermogravimetric Analysis (TGA) and Differential Scanning Calorimetry (DSC) are used to study the composition, performance, and stability of materials by examining their thermal properties. These techniques enable us to measure the enthalpy of decomposition of materials and can examine samples for explosive content.
