"Las Vegas Shooter Found with Same Bomb Making Materials as the OKC Bomber"

During a search of the Las Vegas shooter's car, officers found ammonium nitrate, a high-nitrogen fertilizer used to make homemade explosives. (Ammonium nitrate was infamously used in the Oklahoma City Bombing in April 1995, which left 168 dead and hundreds injured.) Investigators have yet to determine a motive in the shooting.

"Plan 'Bomb' Plot - German national arrested for trying to carry 'Mother of Satan' explosive onto passenger jet in Sweden"

A German national was arrested on Thursday after allegedly trying to smuggle TATP onto a plan in Sweden. The suspect is currently being held in Gothenburg and is so far denying the charges.

"Britain to limit acid sales after steep rise in assaults"

In light of the recent increase in acid assaults and terrorist assaults using a homemade explosives (which require acid for their synthesis), Britain will limit sales of sulfuric acid and outlaw the sale of such corrosive substances to minors. The new law would also require anyone wanting to buy sulfuric acid over a certain concentration to have a Home Office License.

"First K9 officer ever assigned to Myrtle Beach International Airport begins duty"
